Ventura FIO Drive Control
Ventura FIO is a system of I/O modules for interconnecting the process signals in an EtherCAT network. It consists of the bus coupler and a range of I/O modules.
Ventura FIO Drive Control is a4-quadrant servo controller module. It is primarily used for controlling special-purpose machines designed for a variety of industries. EtherCAT operation is based upon MC modules and the PLCopen standard. A CoDeSys library provides the necessary function blocks. All drive functions comply with the CANopen Device Profile (Drive and Motion Control) CiA DSP 402.
Drives can run in either of following modes.
- Position mode
- Velocity mode
- Torque mode
- Homing mode
- Interpolated position mode
