Absolute Multiturn Encoder ATD 2B Series

Baumer Tahlheim expands his EtherCAT absolute encoder family by the new ATD2 series. This very small absolute encoder series offers shaft and end shaft devices in all common mechanical forms. Possible applications are high speed packaging machines or ambitious robotics duties. In those areas the encoder can demonstrate his major advantages concerning the short cycle times and low jitter. That feature allows the operation not only as position sensor but also as accurate speed sensor.
