The SEMES Laboratory at the University of Pisa conducts advanced research on innovative batteries and energy management systems to improve usability, sustainability, and efficiency. Its work includes designing Battery Management Systems (BMS) for safety and performance, characterizing next-generation battery technologies as alternatives to lithium-ion, and developing smart grid architectures with intelligent energy flow strategies to enable efficient and sustainable energy integration.
