Absolute Encoder AC 58 / AC 61

The AC 58 EtherCAT® absolute encoder combines precise position measurement, fast communication, and outstanding durability. Available in singleturn and multiturn versions, it offers resolutions of up to 32 bits and cycle times as short as 62.5 µs.

In addition to position and speed data, the encoder provides temperature readings, diagnostic information, and alarm notifications. Integrated diagnostic LEDs allow quick status monitoring, while extensive configuration options include resolution, total measuring range, preset, offset, direction, position limits, scaling, residual value functions, and adjustable speed and temperature limits.

Designed for demanding industrial applications, the AC 58 operates reliably across a wide temperature range from −40°C to +85°C and delivers best-in-class resistance to shock and vibration. A large selection of variants makes it easy to find the right configuration for virtually any application.
