CompactMotion - universal servo drive

The CompactMotion servo controller series supply unsurpassed levels of functionality and flexibility to furnish optimal efficiency and reliability when used with electric drive units in an extended array of variegated applications.

Unrestricted motor selection
Various motor design configurations from different manufacturers can be directly connected and operated with no need for intervention in the controller`s firmware. This feature is supported by a programmable feedback interface for different kind of encoders plus by a flexible parametrization.

Dynamic and precise
To allow optimal exploitation of the dynamic and precise response potential offered by modern servo technology, the closed-loop control relies on a rapid RISC processor backed up by high-performance algorithms. The manufacturer`s extensive years of experience in high-speed applications constitute a prime resource in satisfying this criterion with ultimate effectiveness.

Freely programmable
The servo controllers incorporate all of the programming elements needed for unconstrained design of motion patterns and operational sequences. In combination with objects for modifying axis response, convenient implementation of a wide range of performance requirements such as travel to seizure, deletion of distance-to-go, current reduction, position detection with trigger input and speed profiles is also available. The possibilities are virtually limitless.

Functional safety
The function SS0 (STO) is available as standard equipment for all devices. If required the functions SS1, SS2, SOS, SLS, SDI can be added.
