AM261

The AM261(AM2612/AM2611) is a real-time Arm® microcontroller built to meet the complex real-time processing and control needs of next-generation industrial systems like AC servo, Remote IO, Humanoind and Robotics. Powered by dual Arm® Cortex®-R5F cores running up to 500MHz. AM2612 delivers high-performance deterministic real-time processing with integrated a Real-Time Control Subsystem (CONTROLSS) — combining ADC, PWM etc, peripherals with a flexible crossbar (XBAR) — to enable efficient sense/process/actuate control loops. Two PRU-ICSS instances provide flexible industrial protocols like EtherCAT and support other Fieldbus systems and flexible encoder interfaces. An integrated 3-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch (CPSW) with TSN support that enables deterministic industrial networking. A dedicated HSM with an Arm Cortex-M4F CPU, cryptographic acceleration, secure boot, and firewalls. AM2612 realizes advanced motor control, industrial communication, and digital power control on a single, scalable, single-chip MCU.
