Welwood B.V. is a Dutch company specialized in the development of a subsurface detection system for white asparagus. Using state-of-the-art sensor and bus technology in combination with advanced algorithms, the Welwood system accurately identifies and communicates the coordinates of the position of the white asparagus spears beneath the soil surface. The mission of Welwood B.V. is to provide innovative solutions to enable automated harvesting of white asparagus as alternative for the current manual harvesting.
