SBA Research

SBA Research is a research center for information security in Austria and part of the Austrian FFG COMET (Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies) program. The center was founded in 2006 as Austria's first research center for information security as a spin-off from TU Wien, Graz University of Technology, and the University of Vienna. In addition to research activities, SBA also offers commercial services for information security. This allows us to combine research, science, and best practices under one roof. Through scientific research in the field of information security, it develops practical and applicable solutions for cybersecurity. SBA Research employs approximately 130 people and is now the largest research center in Austria dedicated exclusively to information security.
