AGD101-EC
The AGD101-EC is an intelligent drive designed for high-performance motion control applications. It is compatible with a wide range of servo motors, including direct drive linear, rotary and voice coil motors from Akribis and other 3rd party manufacturers. Supporting 12V to 90V DC power input and 8 kHz EtherCAT interface, the AGD101-EC provides a flexible solution for low-voltage applications.
The AGD101-EC features up to 8 isolated digital and up to 4 isolated digital outputs. In additional, it has 4 pairs of high-speed bi-directional differential digital I/Os and 1 analog input, providing flexibility for a wide variaty of applications. It supports incremental AquadB and analog SinCos encoder, or absolute BiSS-C or EnDat2.2 encoder, enabling precise positioning and motion control.
Advanced features such as position (compare) event, position lock (capture) and error mapping, further enhance the AGD101-EC's capabilities. Error mapping allows for the compensation of position errors caused by mechanical and thermal factors, resulting in more accurate positioning.
Additionally, the AGD101 supports closed-loop force mode and ultra-precision modes, which provide even greater control over motion and rejecting disturbances.
The AGD101-EC can be configured to run as a single axis motion controller, without the need to an EtherCAT master. It can run a standalone program, with up to 8 multi-threaded tasks, each can be configured to run at different priority. External host computer can communicate with AGD101-EC over Ethernet and/or USB. Hence, it can serve as a full-featured single-axis standalone controller.
