The Mechatronics laboratory at Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan, works on the seamless integration of mechanical and electric systems through control theory, covering a wide range of systems such as robot arms, walking robots, electric transporters and even power electronics-related applications such as DAB converters and solar cells. On recent years the laboratory has been focusing on the development of assistive force control algorithms for systems such as robot actuators and electric assistive transporters.
